Paper can be made from any plant cellulose, from banana peel to cotton plants. Kenaf is a 4,000 year old crop with roots in ancient Africa. This wonder fibre is related to Hibiscus and is a cousin to Cotton and Okra. It is currently grown in southern America. Kenaf grows 12ft to 14ft high in under 6 months. It also produces a beautiful white flower.
