Marigold Tagetes should be diluted to 1% or less in a carrier oil. It can then be used as a chest rub for chest infections, coughs and catarrh. read less
It known for its gentle healing effects so it may be useful to help soothe and protect irritated skin (try diluting with one of our aromatherapy base creams or lotions).
When vaporised, it may provide a lovely calming effect to help provide relief from various stress related tensions (it blends beautifully with sweet citrus oils such as Bergamot which help enhance its naturally sweet and ‘chocolatey’ aroma).

How to use – To diffuse in a traditional burner, simply fill dish with water and add a few drops of oil on top before lighting the candle. For electrical fragrancers, follow instructions given by the manual. For massage: dilute to a maximum of 1% in a carrier oil and gently massage over the skin. Add a few drops to a handkerchief or inhale directly from the bottle if you are on the go. Dilute in distilled water and pour into spray bottle for an all-natural room fragrancer.
Uses and methods of application – Add a few drops to a burner to help promote relaxation (try adding a few drops of a citrus oil such as Bergamot to help bring out the sweetness in the aroma). Dilute to a maximum of 1% and use in a massage; particularly useful as a chest rub.
